If you do not want to buy something, just say "no" and leave. Dawdling is a surefire way to attract attention and have even latched on the street vendors, it is difficult to shake it off.
Also bear in mind that these sellers are trying push their prices on most products, so if you are a good business in Patong, you need to haggle. The street vendors are one of the biggest annoyances in Patong, but do not let them put you off.
PatongBeach is not the most beautiful places, mainly because it pollutes and there are far too many umbrellas and sun loungers. However, there are no problems with the swim at the beach of Patong.
The main field of Patong, but not in the sand. The restaurant scene is about as lively as anywhere you might go to Phuket. Located within walking distance of each other are Mexican, Indian, Thai and Turkish restaurants, and almost every other cuisine you can imagine. TheStandard of restaurants is very different and it's best to shop around as some of the menus are too expensive for the masses.
There is nothing wrong with eating 30-baht noodles or rice from a street vendor. You can fill your own and have only a few dollars in the process. Also in the mix in Patong, there are the obligatory Burger King, McDonald's and Pizza Hut restaurants.
When the sun goes down, comes to life and rev Patong's bars and nightclubsStart the music and nightlife churning drinks. Patong is best enjoyed at night, and there are clubs and bars for every taste. Soi Bangla is mostly seen with beer bars and a few go full-go bars, but around Patong, there are rock clubs, discos, salsa clubs, jazz clubs and much more.
