Patong Phuket is by far the favorite destination for most. Each year thousands of travelers descend on Patong nightlife and Phuket's To Catch a view of the famous beaches, restaurants. Over the years, Patong Resort is transformed from a quiet village into a comprehensive tourist, complete with everything from backpacker hostels and high-end resorts to all-discos and fancy seafood restaurants. It may be the busiest point of the island, but Patong has everything youmight need for a pleasant holiday.
The first thing you'll notice about Patong, is how the place is bustling. There are hordes of tourists who line the streets day and night. Joining the travelers rows peddlers and dealers always try to sell all sorts of chances and ends for "cheap cheap" prices.
Take a walk through Patong and if you do not your mind about you, you could find one and you are with T-shirts, a collection of DVDs, a new suit some funky Beachwear. If you do not want to buy something, just say "no go" and. Dawdling is a surefire way to attract attention and have even latched on the street sellers, it is difficult to shake them free.
Also bear in mind that these companies try products, their prices on most, if you like a good business in Patong, go to to have to haggle up bump. The street dealers are one of the biggest annoyances in Patong, but do not be deterred.
Patong> Beach is not the most beautiful places, mainly because it can be dirty and there are far too many sun loungers and parasols. However, there are no problems with the swimming at the beach of Patong.
The main draw of Patong, however, is not in the sand. The restaurant scene is about as lively as anywhere you might go in Phuket. Within walking distance of each other, you have Mexican, Indian, Thai and Turkish restaurants, plus almost any other dishes you can. Imagine The standard of restaurants is very different and it's best to shop around as some of the menus are too expensive for the masses.
There is nothing wrong with eating 30 baht noodles or rice from a street vendor. You can fill in and spend an average of only a couple of bucks in the process have. Also in the mix in Patong, there are the obligatory Burger Kings, McDonald's Restaurants and Pizza Huts.
When the sun goes down, comes to life and Patong Barsrev and nightclubs, the music and start churning out drinks to revelers. Patong is best enjoyed at night and there are clubs and bars to suit all tastes. Soi Bangla is mainly filled with beer bars, bars and a few go-go, but there are around Patong rock clubs, discos, clubs, salsa, jazz clubs and much more.
